Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and WARETIX (“WARETIX”, “we”, “us”). They govern your access to and use of the WARETIX website, marketplace and related services (the “Platform”). By creating an account, listing an event, or buying a ticket, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. What WARETIX is
WARETIX is a marketplace that lets event organizers (“Organizers”) list and sell tickets, and lets attendees (“Attendees”) discover and buy them. WARETIX is not the organizer, promoter, or owner of the events listed. The contract for any event is between the Organizer and the Attendee; we provide the technology and payment facilitation that connects them.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
3. Buying tickets
When you buy a ticket, you agree to pay the ticket price shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your order is confirmed only once payment succeeds, and tickets are subject to availability and any per-buyer purchase limits set by the Organizer. Tickets are delivered electronically; you are responsible for presenting a valid ticket at entry. Admission is at the Organizer’s and venue’s discretion and subject to their rules.
4. Refunds and cancellations
Refund eligibility is set by each Organizer’s stated policy for their event. Requests are handled according to that policy. If an event is cancelled by the Organizer, refunds are processed for affected orders. WARETIX facilitates refunds through Stripe but is not the party that owes performance of the event itself.
5. Organizers
To sell tickets you must apply and be approved as an Organizer, and complete payment onboarding (Stripe Connect) to receive payouts. You are solely responsible for your events, listings, pricing, tax obligations, and honouring valid tickets. You must have the legal right to sell tickets to the events you list, and your content must not be unlawful, misleading, or infringing.
WARETIX charges Organizers a per-ticket platform fee, which is deducted from payouts. Attendees are not charged an additional booking fee on top of the ticket price. Payouts are made to the Organizer’s connected account, subject to Stripe’s terms and any holds required for fraud prevention or chargebacks.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
- bypass security, purchase limits, bot protection, or scan/scrape the Platform without permission;
- resell tickets in violation of an Organizer’s policy or applicable law;
- upload malicious code or content that is infringing, defamatory, or harmful;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
7. Intellectual property
The Platform, including its software, design and branding, is owned by WARETIX and protected by law. Organizers retain rights to the content they upload but grant WARETIX a licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating the Platform.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that events will take place as described or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WARETIX is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability relating to the Platform is limited to the fees we retained on the transaction giving rise to the claim.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold WARETIX harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Platform, your events (if you are an Organizer), or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified via the Platform or email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your country], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of [your country] have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
